Parents School Registration

Welcoming Learners from Preschool – 12th Grade!

Registration for the 2025-2026 school year is open!

  • Please use a laptop or a desktop computer to complete registration if possible.
  • We recommend using the web browsers Google Chrome, Firefox, or the Puffin app if you are using an iPad. Using a mobile phone to complete registration is not recommended.

PRESCHOOL | PRE-KINDERGARTEN | KINDERGARTEN

  • PRESCHOOL – must be age 3 (with a fee and limited space) or 4 (no fee) on or before September 15 of the fall school year.
    • Our 3 and 4-year-old Preschool (PS) program has morning or afternoon sessions 4 days per week (M, T, Th, F).
      • We offer mid-day transportation for our preschoolers for a per semester fee.
      • We offer wrap-around care (limited space) which is opposite the preschool time.

  • PRE-KINDERGARTEN & KINDERGARTEN – must be age 5 on or before September 15 of the fall school year.
    • Our Pre-Kindergarten (PK) program is designed for students who are of kindergarten age but may need an extra year of development before they are ready for all-day kindergarten. Sessions are offered all day on Monday, Wednesday, & Friday at both elementary schools. For 25-26, PreK Wrap-Around Childcare (limited space) is available at Little Dutch Academy on Tuesdays/Thursdays and before/after school.
    • Our Kindergarten (KG) program is offered all day Monday through Friday at both elementary schools.

OPEN ENROLLMENT
Iowa Open Enrollment allows parents to enroll their K-12 students in a school district other than their resident school district. (Not needed to attend preschool)

The deadline to submit open enrollment applications for the 25-26 school year is March 1, 2025. Exceptions to the March 1 deadline are circumstances listed on the open enrollment form.

2025-26 NEW FAMILIES

(New to Pella Community Schools)

ONLINE REGISTRATION – link

  • A new family registration means you do NOT have any children currently enrolled in the Pella Community School District.
  • Questions? Contact our District Registrar.

STEP 1 – REGISTRATION

  • Complete the online registration application. Provide the following required items:
  • Proof of Residence: lease/mortgage agreement or utility bill
  • Proof of Age: hospital certificate of live birth, US passport, adoption papers, custody document, or student’s driver’s license.
  • Immunizations: Provide updated State Health Requirements for the school nurse.
  • Enrollment will not be completed without the these required items. If you are not able to upload the items on the registration, you may email them directly to the District Registrar.

STEP 2 – PAY FEES (July)

  • Watch your email! Your Campus Parent Portal credentials are coming soon.
  • On July 1, log into the Campus Parent Portal to pay your school year fees.
  • Fees: FEES > ADD TO CART
  • Optional Fees: FEES > OPTIONAL FEES > ADD TO CART
  • Food Service: FOOD SERVICE > ENTER AMOUNT > ADD TO CART
  • Free/Reduced price meal application will be available this summer.

2025-26 CURRENT FAMILIES

(Have students enrolled and can add siblings)

PARENT PORTAL

  • A current family registration means you have students enrolled and you may need to add additional children (such as preschoolers or kindergartners) who might be new to the Pella Community School District.
  • Forgot your Campus Parent username/password? Use the reset option at the bottom of the Campus Parent Portal login page.

STEP 1 – REGISTRATION

  • Log into your Campus Parent Portal and click on MORE > ONLINE REGISTRATION.
  • New address? Please provide an updated Proof of Residence.
  • Enrolling additional students (ie: preschoolers)? Click on ADD NEW STUDENTS under the STUDENT section. Provide proof of age.
  • Updated Immunizations? Provide updated State Health Requirements to the school nurse.

STEP 2 – PAY FEES (July)

  • On July 1, log into the Campus Parent Portal to pay your school year fees.
  • Fees: FEES > ADD TO CART
  • Optional Fees: FEES > OPTIONAL FEES > ADD TO CART
